GIRARD, Ohio -

The search is over for a Girard man whose wife claims he threatened to sell her for drugs last year.  Now his wife faces charges as well.

Forty-four-year-old James Mrofchak was booked into the Trumbull County Jail on on a charge of domestic violence and a probation violation.

When he was arrested on Tuesday, Girard Police also charged his wife, Jacquelyn Mrofchak with obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

James Mrofchak was originally charged after a December 20th incident at the couple's home on West Second Street in Girard.

Police say they found Jacquelyn Mrofchak's face and clothing splattered with blood. She also had scratches and welts on her face.

The victim claimed that her husband repeatedly punched her in the face because she resisted his threats to sell her for drug money.

She says her husband used a shirt to bind her hands and attempted to take pictures of her that she believed he planned to use to sell her.

After he allegedly threatened her with a kitchen knife, the wife says she managed to escape as she was being dragged outside of the home.
