Mancini elected into Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame
Youngstown native and former lightweight champion Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini has been elected into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame.

Youngstown native and former lightweight champion Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini has been elected into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame.
"It's exciting for me, because Nevada has a special place in my career," Mancini told 21 Sports.
He was 6-3 in his career in Nevada, and lost the final three fights of his career there to Livingston Bramble, Hector Camacho and Greg Haugen.
"It's been a hall of fame year," Mancini said laughing. He was inducted into the Curbstone
Coaches and International Boxing halls of fame within the last 10 months.
Mancini is one of 11 with ties to boxing being inducted. The ceremony is being held in July at Ceasar's Palace.
