WARREN, Ohio -

Warren's Democratic Precinct Committee will vote Friday on who will permanently replace former Warren City Auditor Anthony J. Natale.

Natale pleaded guilty to conveying false information related to the use of a weapon of mass destruction earlier this month.

Natale admitted to a judge that he sent an envelope containing white powder to a Boardman business in 2014. He said he sent it out of hurt and anger after being terminated a month before.

The city accepted letters of intent and resumes until Thursday.

Jeff Goodman, Parliamentarian of the Trumbull County Democratic party says that the ideal candidate will have experience with city government, and has a financial background with a experience in city budgets.

The committee will vote at 5 p.m. at the Trumbull County Democratic Party Headquarters in Warren.
