AKRON, Ohio (AP) - Police in northeast Ohio have identified the man killed when gunfire erupted during a vigil held to remember a man slain in 2014.

Officials with the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office say 22-year-old Eric Gaiter was shot several times during Thursday's vigil on Akron's west side. The Stow man was pronounced dead at the scene at about 10:40 p.m.

A 20-year-old man and two women were also shot in addition to Gaiter. They are all expected to survive.

Police are continuing to investigate the shooting and no arrests have been made. Lt. Rick Edwards says witnesses reported that there was more than one shooter.

The vigil was held in memory of 28-year-old Ronnie Travis, who was shot dead while standing outside his car on July 14, 2014.
