Truck fire limits traffic on I-79 in Mercer County

One lane of Interstate 79 is shut down in Mercer County while crews work to put out a fire that broke out in a truck trailer.

SHEAKLEYVILLE, Pa. - One lane of Interstate 79 is shut down in Mercer County while crews work to put out a fire that broke out in a truck trailer.

State Police say only one southbound lane is open just north of the Route 358 interchange after the fire that broke out shortly before 11:30 am Tuesday.

It is not known how long the lane will be closed.
