WARREN, Ohio - Before you head out to vote on Tuesday, you'll want to double check your polling location.

The Trumbull County Board of Elections has received many calls regarding mailers that provide voters with wrong polling locations.

The mailers come in two forms. One is a flyer and the other is a letter signed by President Barack Obama. Both claim to be "Paid for by the Ohio Democratic Party."

"We've contacted the Secretary of State’s office and some candidate groups to see if we could tell where it was coming from," said Trumbull County BOE Director Stephanie Penrose.

But, so far they haven't received a clear answer.

"If you get any type of mailings, remember most of it is not from us (board of elections.) There are a lot of groups out there trying to influence you," said Deputy Director Alan Shaker.

In the meantime, the Trumbull County Board of Election workers just hopes voters know the correct place to go on November 8th.

"My fear is that a lot of voters will not call and they're going to go to the polling location on the notices and they're going to be in the wrong place. Which is either going to cause them to be a provisional voter or they may not know where to go," said Administrative Assistant Joanne Hulvalchic. "They may not be able to get through to us that day, our lines are going to be very busy, and they may not be able to vote if it's after 7:30."

To find your voting location the board of elections asks voters to call their county BOE or visit their web site.
