A suspect is still at large after a homicide and kidnapping in Warren Friday night.

The search for a missing woman expanded from the city of Warren to include 6 states.

Warren police released surveillance video recorded at around 6:50 p.m. Friday, about 20 minutes after the murder of John Kellar, as well as the robbery and alleged abduction of 36-year-old Alicia Binion at a home on Stephens Avenue on Warren's North West side.

"Ms. Binion is considered missing and is believed to be with this person of interest so we would like to locate both of them," said Warren Police Detective Nick Carney.

When police arrived at the home they found the front door open. Inside they found 41-year-old John Kellar dead from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

Neighbors on the block say the murdered man, who lived in Niles, was a frequent visitor to the home in Warren.

According to 911, a woman described as being "hysterical" called police to report the abduction and murder which took place at the home where Binion lives.

Police would not confirm whether the person of interest is Binion's boyfriend.

The person of interest and Binion were last seen heading west on Market Street leaving Rocky's gas station in a white Chevy van with Ohio license plates GWC4516.

"Time is critical in these kinds of cases so we would like to locate this person of  interest and the female if possible, " said Det. Carney.

Warren detectives are not stating a motive at this time.

However, a search of public court records shows the murder victim, John Kellar, has a past criminal record.

Alicia Marie Binion, who is believed to have been abducted, also has also been convicted of drug possession and criminal charges. She is on probation until September 2018.

Warren police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Binion or the person of interest, to call detectives at 330-841-2512.

The 911 dispatch log states that the person of interest could be armed and dangerous
