WARREN, Ohio -

Two people are in the Trumbull County Jail, after one of them allegedly led police on a chase.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers pulled over a car and were interviewing the two men inside.

The passenger was arrested for a firearm violation, but after officers put him in one of their cruisers, the driver of the car sped away.

The car led police on a chase, winding through streets from Main Avenue to Deerfield Avenue SW, where the driver bailed out and began to run.

After a foot chase and search, police found the man hiding under a car on Southwest Blvd. SW.

When police found him, they say he was carrying a weapon.

Police say they found a controlled substance inside the vehicle.

Ryan Owens, 26, and Tay'Jhon Baugh, are both charged with carrying concealed weapons and receiving stolen property.

Owens is also charged with failure to comply with the order of a police officer.
