WARREN, Ohio - Southern Boulevard and Solar Street in Warren were blocked off for several hours Thursday night as police investigated a crash scene where gun shots were fired.

Police say a vehicle was heading south on Southern Boulevard as several shots were fired from inside the vehicle. The car hit a stop sign at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Solar Street and then proceeded to crash into a house.

A witness tells 21 News he saw the crash and ran out to help.

"Immediately I opened the door and ran outside to the car to see if anybody was okay and there was a chick in the back seat and she said, 'No, does it look like everything is okay,'" said Witness Robert Milligan.

Milligan tells 21 News he then turned around and hear four gun shots coming from inside the car.

"The only thing I could think is I'm just trying to help somebody I don't want to get hurt, so I just took back running back to the house," said Milligan.

Warren's police chief confirms there were three people in the vehicle. Two people are dead and one was taken by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Police are not commenting on whether or not drugs were in the car, at this time.
