Former Canfield business owner back in jail

CANFIELD, Ohio -

The former owner of the Canfield Dairy Queen who served prison time for child pornography and drug charges is back behind bars.

Trent Rapp, 50, was arrested Tuesday by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for allegedly violating terms of his parole, according to Mahoning County jail records.

In 2012, Rapp was originally placed on probation for five years after being convicted of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material, pandering sexually oriented material, one count of corrupting a minor with drugs, one count of marijuana possession, two counts of possessing cocaine, and possessing criminal tools.

Police raided Rapp's house in 2011, where they found counterfeit money, cocaine, and computers containing child pornography.

At the time of sentencing, investigators say Rapp victimized a juvenile and would pick him up, drive him into Youngstown to purchase heroin for him.

Just five months after he was placed on probation, Judge Maureen Sweeney sentenced Rapp to five years in prison for violating terms of his probation.

Rapp was released from prison in July but remains on probation.

Online court records do not say when a hearing will be held on the alleged probation violation.
