A candlelight vigil is planned tonight for a Sharon toddler who drowned in a swimming pool at a home in Masury.

Two-year-old Anakin Gammon was found on Sunday evening in the fenced-in pool at Syme and Alfred Streets after finding his way through an opening in the garage.

Gammon was taken to Sharon Regional Hospital where he later died around 10:20 pm.

Authorities have not said if their investigation has determined how the child wandered nine blocks away from his family's Lafayette Avenue home, which was the subject of a police search.

There is no word yet if there will be anyone charged in the investigation, which is a joint effort by Sharon and Brookfield police departments.

Organizers say the vigil will be held at 7 pm tonight along State Line Road at an area known both as Perkins Hill and Sacred Heart Hill.

A fundraising spaghetti dinner will also be held at Schell's Club Topsy in Masury.
