MERCER, Pa. -

Paving operations in Mercer will be underway 24 hours a day beginning Monday.

Traffic patterns will change daily as crews work to repave Interstate 376.

The work is scheduled to start at 7:00 am on Monday morning and continue through noon on Friday.

Crews are scheduled to work on both eastbound and westbound lanes, as well as westbound ramps. Flaggers will be direct traffic. Light plants will be used for nighttime work.

This project is part of a $3.8 million project to improve four miles of Interstate 376 in Mercer County, from the intersection with Route 760 to the Mercer/Lawrence county line.

No detours are anticipated, but drivers will encounter lane restrictions controlled by signs and devices.
