YPD: Man allegedly passes note to Family Dollar worker demanding money

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Youngstown Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly passed a note to a Family Dollar employee demanding all the money in the cash register.

Police say they received calls to the Oak Street store on Monday night.

According to the police report, the male suspect slid the cashier a note that said, "Give me all the money and don't say anything".

The employee told police the suspect took 82 dollars. 

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and a black stocking cap with an "L" on it. 

Officers say they are investigating surveillance video.
