WARREN, Ohio -

Detectives are expected to take a look at surveillance video after a man loaded $1,200 worth of vacuum cleaners into a shopping cart before walking out of the Lowe's store in Warren.

According to a police report, the suspect grabbed a buggy at the store on Niles-Cortland Road and loaded it with three Dyson sweepers.

He began walking out of the store without paying. When an employee tried to stop him, the suspect told him to stay away.

The report says the employee watched him as he got into his car and drove away.

Store security says they recognized the suspect, saying he has shoplifted before and has been told to stay out of the store.

Warren police are investigating other shoplifting incidents at the Lowe's in recent weeks.

On June 26 a man walked out of the store pushing two lawnmowers worth $678.

Five days later grabbed two chainsaws valued at $568 and left the store without paying.
