Howland Township Trustees are holding another Food Truck Friday next weekend.

The event is on August 17 at the Richard E. Orwig Park on East Market Street from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

You can come to the event for dinner, bring your lawn chairs, and stick around for live music by Frank Castellano.

Township trustees say feedback from the community has been overwhelmingly positive.

"Not only is this an evening of fantastic food, but it's about enjoying the summer with friends and family, and coming together as a community," says Darlene St George, Howland Township Administrator.

The event has generated interest from the Cleveland-based food truck, Melted Fusion, they offer a seasonal selection of melted cheese sandwiches. An East Palestine-based food truck, Babcia's Lunchbox, will is also joining the event with their homemade Polish favorites, like perogies.

Eight food trucks will be participating in Friday's event.
