Mom passes out notebooks to West Middlesex students in daughter's honor
The memory of a West Middlesex graduate lives on, thanks to her mother's generosity.

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. - The memory of a West Middlesex graduate lives on, thanks to her mother's generosity.
Marla Pavarnik passed away five years ago on August 26. Her mother, Melinda says she loved back to school shopping.
In Marla's honor, Melinda has donated notebooks to the 4th 5th and 6th grades at West Middlesex schools.
"I talked to a few of the teachers and they're going to journal in their notebooks and Marla loved to journal. Over the weekend, it was five years ago on Sunday that she passed away, on the 26th, and I was reading some of her journals," Melinda says.
Marla graduated Magna Cum Laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2013.
"I am trying to keep her memory alive and it helps me to do this for the students," Melinda adds.
The notebooks were donated from several family members and friends.
