'Battle of the Badges' brings together first responders at Boardman stadium

BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio -

Boardman Township police and firefighters squared off Tuesday evening for their annual "Battle of Badges."

This was the 5th year for the 9/11 charity softball game and took place on the field at the high school stadium. 

The location had to be changed from the Field of Dreams on McClurg Road due to weather. 

Boy Scout Troop 54 presented the colors during the National Anthem at 5:45 pm.

There was free admission with donations going to the Boardman Safety Services Memorial.
