September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer for men in the United States.
More than 180,000 men are diagnosed each year. It's also the second-leading cause of cancer-related death.
Dr. Dan Ricchiuti with Mercy Health tells 21 News that it is important for men to get screened to detect it early.
Mercy Health is hosting the Fuel the Fight Car Show next Sunday, September 23, at Boardman High school starting at 11:00 a.m.
The entry fee for the show is $15.00 per person.
Men 40 and older can receive free prostate screenings there.
