Brookfield Schools to create Alumni Hall of Fame, seeking nominees

Posted: Updated:
BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio -

Brookfield Local Schools is creating an Alumni Hall of Fame to recognize outstanding graduates, and they're asking for nominees.

The school will induct its first class of outstanding graduates into the Brookfield High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame in September 2019.

The school said the award is to honor alumni whose deeds and character represent outstanding achievement in work and, or, community service.

The award will also emphasize the importance of graduates who have been life-long learners and those who made the most of every opportunity.

School officials say the inductees will serve as role models for the current student body.

The Hall of Fame Selection Committee will choose up to five people for the award.

These selections will be made based on nominations plus additional information received from family, friends and the nominees themselves.

Nominee forms can be found in school offices as well as online on the school's website

The school said the nominees must have graduated at least 10 years ago and all forms must be submitted before January 4, 2019.
