YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police say a woman is behind bars facing several charges after she allegedly assaulted a police officer while being arrested in connection with an armed home invasion.
Police say the investigation began when a woman on Shady Run Road called officers to report an armed home invasion.
According to a police report, investigators arrived at the home to find the woman "shaking and scared".
Investigators say the woman told them that she heard a knock on the back door of her home Sunday morning. as the woman walked toward the back door, a report says she say a female suspect in a flannel jacket punch through the glass in the door, reach through, and open the door.
The victim told officers that the female suspect, later identified as 33-year-old Colisha Bussey, had a four-inch knife in her hands. The report says a second suspect, a man with a gun, also came into the house.
A report says the victim's alarm system began going off and Bussey and the man ordered her to turn it off "or they would shoot her".
The suspects then allegedly began asking the victim where her son was and demanding that they wanted $340 from her.
A police report says Bussey and the male suspect began searching the victim's house for money.
The report says Bussey took $140 in cash, as well as several checks, and a debit card, from the victim's purse. The duo also reportedly loaded a purse full of costume jewelry and took a 55-inch flat screen TV from the living room.
The victim reportedly told police that before leaving Bussey and the man told her that if she called police they would "come back" and kill her.
A short while later, as officers were writing the policed report on the burglary they received a call about a woman, identified as Bussey, attempting to use a credit card that wasn't hers.
Police say when they arrived at the Shell gas station on Market Street Bussey, wearing a flannel jacket, was locked inside the store.
Employees reportedly told officers that they had locked Bussey in the store because she attempted to use a debit card to pay for $170 in groceries and cigarettes.
The report says employees told officers that when they asked Bussey for another form of I.D. so they could prove the credit card was hers she became angry and "started getting very loud".
Police say they then entered the store and arrested Bussey. However, while they were taking her into custody, Bussey allegedly tossed several credit cards under a nearby cooler.
The cards, which were retrieved by a police officer, were found to have the names of the victim, another victim who reported a break-in over the weekend, and a man.
A police report says that Bussey had already been able to use a credit card in the victim's name to pay for$58 worth of gas to put in a van in the Shell parking lot.
During the investigation, police say a man, identified as 38-year-old Michael Daviduk, approached officers asking about Bussey. A report says Daviduk was seen in the van that Bussey had allegedly used the victim's credit card to fill with gas.
Officer say they then searched the van and found a purse containing the victim's checks as well as costume jewelry in the front seat.
Daviduk was then arrested on a charge of receiving stolen property.
According to the report while Bussey was being placed into the back of a police cruiser to be transported to jail she was loud and uncooperative. The report says that while officers were trying to get her into the cruiser she kicked one of them in the chest.
The officer did not require medical attention.
Bussey and Daviduk were both taken to the Mahoning County Jail.
Deputies at the jail were unable to take a booking photo of Bussey because she continued to be "noncompliant".
Bussey faces charges of assault on a police officer, misuse of a credit card, aggravated burglary, and receiving stolen property.
Daviduk is not charged in the robbery at this point.
A police report says the duo is scheduled to be arraigned in Youngstown Municipal Court on Monday.
