Farrell plans state championship sendoff today

FARRELL, Pa. -

Farrell football fans gather this morning to give their team a rousing sendoff to the state championship game.

According to the school's athletic department, team supporters will get together at 9 am today at the McClusky Gym to cheer on the Steelers.

Those taking part should enter through door number 14 at the rear of the gym.

Doors will open at 8:45. The program will begin at 9:00. At approximately 9:45 the team will exit the front of the gym to load the bus on Roemer Boulevard.

The undefeated Steelers, 14-0, play 14-1 Lackawanna Trail at 1:00 pm Thursday in Hershey.
