A man Boardman police say robbed a Boardman Dairy Queen at knifepoint has officially been booked in the Mahoning County Jail.

U.S. Marshalls were able to locate him Tuesday afternoon and place him under arrest.

Police tell 21 News that 37-year old Ronald Moffo, Jr. was wanted on a charge of aggravated robbery.

The robbery happened just before 7 pm. Sunday at the restaurant on Market Street.

According to a police report, the suspect ordered and paid for an ice cream cone before pulling out a knife, handing the cashier a note, and saying "Give me the money." 

Moffo allegedly reached over the counter into the open register and removed $54 before fleeing north on Market Street into a nearby parking lot.

He is now in police custody.
