WARREN, Ohio - Warren police were called to the 800 block of Meadowbrook Avenue for a domestic violence dispute.

When police arrived at the home they noticed that 44-year-old Eleanor Hall, had blood on her face standing outside of a vehicle that her boyfriend had locked himself in.

According to police, Hall explained that her boyfriend allegedly punched her in the face multiple times and then ran out of the home and locked himself in his truck. Police then placed her boyfriend into handcuffs and instructed Hall to go clean herself up.

Police say that after Hall cleaned the blood off of herself they noticed there were only minor cuts on her face and police were confused as to how minor cuts produced so much blood.

Warren police then took a statement from Hall's boyfriend who stated that he had not punched her or brought any harm to her and said that she was lying about everything. Hall's boyfriend said that his friend witnessed it all and would be willing to tell police what actually happened.

After police took a statement from Hall's friend they realized that their stories aligned and there was something strange about Hall's statement.

Police investigated the bathroom and found a sharp thin razor with fresh blood on it. Authorities noticed that the cuts on Hall's face were consistent with the blade that was found.

Police then asked Hall again about the incident, giving her one more chance, to tell the truth. Hall admitted to cutting herself but said she did not punch herself in the face.

Hall was arrested and charged with falsification and domestic violence.
