LISBON, Ohio - The area of Route 164 at Leetonia Road in Lisbon is now open after a fatal two-vehicle crash left one dead around 6 am. 

Twenty-nine-year-old Christopher T. Jarome of Lisbon was driving his vehicle northbound on State Route 164 when his vehicle went left of center and struck 49-year-old Christopher W. Kramer's car. 

Jarome was transported to Salem Regional Medical Center after sustaining fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Kramer was transported to St. Elizabeth and was treated for non-life threatening injuries. 

21 News was first notified of the accident around 7 a.m. Friday. Columbiana County OSP dispatchers said the area of Route 164 near Leetonia Road was temporarily closed while troopers investigated.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, both drivers had their seatbelts on at the time of the crash, alcohol, and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
