Posted: Updated:
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Youngstown police are investigating a body that was found on 1725 Gladstone Street.

The Mahoning County Coroner's Office identifies 33-year-old Amy Begeot as the woman found in a trash can on Youngstown's east side.

According to the Coroner's report, Begeot's body was identified by several body tattoos.

A family member tells 21 News that Begeot has been missing since October 24.

According to Youngstown police, the landlord found Begeot's body outside of the house in a trash can.

The landlord says that he came to the house with a bailiff earlier today to open up and clean out the residence, but they found a dog and Begeot's body. The humane society was called out to remove the dog from the residence.

The cause of the death is unknown pending further examination from the Mahoning County Coroners office and the Youngstown Police Department.
