NORTH JACKSON, Ohio - Officials from the Mahoning County Hazardous Materials Team have been called out to a crash on Interstate 76. 

Shortly after 2 pm officials received reports of a tractor-trailer on its side on Interstate 76. 

The crash is in the eastbound lanes just before the bridge over the Meander Reservoir. 

Just moments crews reported a "large amount" of diesel fuel leaking into the water. 

HazMat crews are on scene working to control the spill. 

At this point, the Ohio State Highway Patrol says the roadway is still open. 

The crash follows several hours of reports by local officers of cars sliding off of roadways.
