According to a Special Weather Statement, the National Weather Service says drivers can expect patchy freezing drizzle through mid-morning in an area that includes Mahoning and Trumbull Counties.

Temperatures will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s which could lead to a light glaze of ice on untreated surfaces.

There is also a Hazardous Weather Outlook for northeast Ohio, which includes Mahoning and Trumbull Counties.

A brief wintry mix is possible this afternoon through tonight as precipitation overspreads the area from the south.

This could briefly cause hazardous travel conditions on untreated roadways before the precipitation transitions to rain.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 11 am Monday until 1 pm Tuesday.

Mixed precipitation expected with total snow accumulations of up to 3 inches and ice accumulations of one to two-tenths of an inch. Drivers should expect slippery conditions.
