East Palestine City Schools warn parents of the Momo challenge

Posted: Updated:
EAST PALESTINE, Ohio -

The East Palestine City School District is warning parents of the Momo Challenge.

The videos apparently appear on social media sites such as Youtube and Kids Youtube. Many of the videos start innocently but then turn unto an altered version with violence and offensive language.

The school district says that they have become increasingly aware of the inappropriate videos and they warn parents to stay vigilant while children are using the internet.

The East Palestine City Schools also say that at no time should students talk or participate in conversations related to the Momo Challenge or any other violent video games or videos.

If anyone has any questions you can contact the East Palestine City School District at (330) 426-3355.
