Police say that the 7,040 liquid ounces of CBD oil is approximately worth $165,000.
Troopers stopped a 2017 U-Haul truck with Arizona registration for a marked lanes violation. Upon stopping the vehicle police called in a patrol-sniffing canine, which alerted police that there was contraband in the vehicle.
The driver, thirty-seven-year-old Joshua Seller of Providence Rhode Island and the passenger, thirty-seven-year-old Richard Defedele, of North Kingston Rhode Island were charged with possession of a schedule one substance.
If convicted, each one of them could face up to eleven years in prison.
