WARREN, Ohio - A Youngstown woman has pleaded not guilty to shoplifting an AK-47 pistol from a gun show in Warren.
Police arrested 31-year-old Miesha Collins Sunday at a gun show being held in the former Kmart in the Trumbull Plaza on Parkman Road.
Warren Police Chief Eric Merkel, who was working security at the show, said he found Collins hiding a Micro Draco AK-47 pistol under her coat.
Police say the weapon had been taken from a gun dealer at the show.
Even though Collins claimed she had picked up the gun to compare prices, the police charged her with theft.
The report lists the gun's value at $600.
The next court hearing for Collins is set for March 11.
