Worker above cable TV bucket truck during head-on crash in Liberty

Posted: Updated:

State Troopers have arrested a driver whose car crashed head-on into a cable TV truck in Liberty while a man was up in the truck's bucket.

Troopers have identified the driver as 27-year-old Juwan Marbury of Warren.

It happened around 3:30 am Friday along Logan Way.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 21 News that the Spectrum cable employee was above his truck working on a pole when a car went left of center, plowed through the orange cones in front of the truck, and ran into the front of the truck.

The front of the car was heavily damaged, but neither the driver nor the cable employee was seriously injured.

Troopers believe Marbury was under the influence.

After the crash, the cable worker got back into the bucket and continued working on the pole.

Logan Way is closed just north of the Youngstown Country Club while the accident is being investigated.
