HUBBARD TWP., Ohio - State Troopers have identified the woman who was killed in a crash along the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 in Hubbard Monday morning.

Investigators say 36-year-old Jessica Iglesias from Hubbard died when the car she was driving crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer near the truck weigh station.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, 53-year-old Katherina V. Stewart of Asheboro, North Carolina was not injured.

Ms. Stewart’s passenger, 60-year-old Benjamin Bargeron, also of Asheboro, North Carolina, was not injured.

The crash occurred while vehicles were in a traffic jam caused by a previous multi-vehicle crash further down the Interstate on westbound 80, just east of the Belmont Avenue exit.

The second crash occurred just before one westbound lane of Interstate 80 opened.

In the first accident, an SUV rolled over on its roof along both westbound lanes of the interstate just east of the Belmont Avenue exit at around 7:45 am Monday.

Other vehicles involved in the accident include a U-Haul truck, a Jeep, and a Cadillac.

The side and back of the U-Haul truck are ripped open.

An ODOT traffic camera showed westbound traffic backed up toward Pennsylvania.

As that crash was being investigated, the second accident occurred.

"The second vehicle was a Cadillac SRX, and it went right into the rear of the trailer," Lt. Brian Vail of the Warren OSP Post said.

Droan video showed the car wedged under the trailer. According to State Troopers, witnesses said the SUV driver made no attempt to brake or slow down.

"They stated that there was no braking by the vehicle, so it doesn't appear that the subject of that vehicle didn't see that corridor was stopped," said Lt. Vail.

That would explain why the SUV traveled almost six feet under this semi-trailer and struck with enough force to blow out the rear tires.

Traffic was diverted through the weigh station in Hubbard until 11 am while troopers investigated the second accident.

The Patrol said there were no life-threatening injuries in the first accident.

The Warren woman from the first crash was charged with failure to maintain control.

Troopers are still investigating both crashes.
