YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

The fifth annual Taste of Youngstown is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 13.

The event will be held at the B&O Station Banquet Hall (530 Mahoning Avenue) in Downtown Youngstown from 5 pm until 9 pm.

YSUscape, a student organization that collaborates with the community to revitalize and beautify Youngstown, is the sponsor for the event.

27 local restaurants and businesses are scheduled to be at the event showcasing their food.

The event has a great variety of diverse foods that can be found around the city.

Over 30 baskets and gift card will be raffled off and live music is slated for the event.

A cash bar is available through the B&O Station.

Tickets for the event are $15 for general admission, $10 for students and $5 for children 6-12. Children 5 and under are free.

Tickets can be purchased at the door and free parking is available at the B&O Station.

Money raised from the event will go towards YSU student led revitalization projects throughout the city over the next year.

These projects include public art installations and neighborhood improvement projects around Downtown Youngstown.
