Girard boil alert lifted

GIRARD, Ohio -

According to a news release, the boil alert for residents on Hancock Street has been lifted.

Girard Public Service Director Jerry Lambert issued the precautionary boil advisory Monday morning for residents living between the addresses of 24 and 60 Hancock Street.

Lambert told 21 News that a contractor struck a water line in the area.
