Howland graduate Lewis selected by Orioles in MLB draft

HOWLAND TWP., Ohio -

Former Howland baseball standout Craig Lewis was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 33rd round of Major League Baseball draft.

He's a 2016 graduate of Howland and is a redshirt sophomore at Seton Hill University.

The outfielder batted .435 in a season cut short by injuries. He had three doubles, four runs scored and eight runs hit in in 13 games,

As a freshman, he was a Rawling All Atlantic Region Selection and Second Team All-Conference.

He's the second Howland product currently in the Orioles organization. Tanner Scott is with triple-A Norfolk and was with the Orioles for a brief time in 2018.
