Brookfield Schools announces new superintendent

BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio -

The Brookfield Board of Education announced Toby Gibson as the next Brookfield Local Schools Superintendent at a special board meeting Wednesday night.

Gibson, a graduate from Brookfield Local Schools, currently serves as the district's Middle School Principal.

“I’m honored to receive this opportunity,” said Gibson. “Brookfield Local Schools have great students, great staff, and a great community. I cannot wait to get started.”

Gibson’s contract begins on August 1, 2019.

    The Mahoning Valley Rescue Mission received a $1,500 check from the Greek Catholic Union of the U.S.A Lodge 164.  The GCU Lodge 164 and St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church held a bingo night fundraiser to benefit three non-profit charitable organizations that support the needs of disadvantaged people within the Mahoning Valley Community.
