Posted: Updated:

A rainy Father's Day is shaping up across the Valley; there are already flood concerns for several locations in the region. Eagle Creek at Phalanx Station is expected to crest about a foot and a half above flood stage later Sunday morning.
Expect periods of scattered showers and storms Sunday during the day and the evening. The heaviest rain should fall between 11:00am and 3:00pm:

Sunday's highs will be in the mid 70s and lows in the low 60s.
Scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm or two for Monday; the best chance will be mainly south of interstate 80. Another half inch to inch of rain could fall on top of what we've already had by late Monday night:

Highs Monday in the mid 70s.
Showers and storms will be more widely scattered Tuesday with highs in the mid 70s.
Partly sunny skies Wednesday with a passing shower or two possible and highs near 80.
Mostly cloudy Thursday with showers and storms during the day; some could be strong with highs in the upper 70s.
A shower or two may be around Friday morning, then skies will become partly cloudy with highs in the mid 70s.
Partly cloudy Saturday before a shower or storm arrives after dark; highs in the upper 70s.
