Youngstown Events Coordinator making big name for himself despite humble beginnings
Terrill Vidale owns several businesses including 2Deep Entertainment and 2Deep Estates and hopes his story will inspire others to chase their dreams.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - In a city that has taken a lot of blows, Youngstown has also had its fair share of success stories. One of those stories is centered around the Events Coordinator for Youngstown, Terrill Vidale. He's a young entrepreneur who didn't let his humble beginnings keep him from chasing a dream and helping create a better city along the way.
"I tell people all I had was a dollar and a dream," said Vidale.
For Vidale, it was all he needed to go from rags to riches.
"I just had a heart, I had grit and I had effort and we put it in and made it happen," said Vidale.
Vidale is the President and CEO of 2Deep Entertainment. He owns 2Deep Estates, co-owns the newly formed Kadi Concierge, manages former NFL QB Michael Vick, drives his dream car, a Bentley and flies in private jets.
"2Deep Entertainment is a full service entertainment agency so our job is to make other people's lives easier," he said. "We do hundreds of events a year and right now 2Deep Entertainment is in 18 states."
While the company continues to grow each and every year since he started it in 2013, Vidale isn't satisfied.
"A lot of people think ehh, I've made it. To me, I feel like I haven't don't anything yet. When I look at Jay-Z, when I look at Sean Combs, when I look at all these other people in my industry, I look and rank myself with them where, I haven't done anything yet," said Vidale.
But if you look at where it all began, you will see just how far Vidale has come. 2Deep Entertainment was started in a 20 square foot bedroom of his mothers house on Harlem Street in 2013.
"I had a chair right here that was broken that did not work, that's the desk and all my emails, all my sponsors, all the packets I put together, every single thing that when we started, was right there," he said. "People think you need this glorious office on this busy street and as you can see I started hit right here in my sisters bedroom. My line was just give me an opportunity to prove myself and I did it over and over and over again and now here we are seven years later."
There was even a time before he started the business in his sisters bedroom, Vidale didn't have a home. Between the ages of 13 and 16, Vidale lived at the Beatitude House with his mother and two siblings when the family fell on hard times.
"They do a great job here letting you feel like this is home, they make you feel like this is something that is natural," said Vidale.
Vidale says the Beatitude House played a huge role in his life giving him a helping hand and a second chance.
"I believe this is what taught me discipline and taught me the tools and principles I need for me to become better at life. Being here in front of this door and walking up here and talking to you about it, is such a surreal moment for me because I had so many, 3 years of my childhood memories were here whether it's playing basketball, walking home from school, walking home from track practice, all the memories of just living here and watching TV."
Vidale now runs 2Deep Entertainment out of a 5,800 square foot building next to the Covelli Center in downtown Youngstown. When he's not working on expanding his businesses, he's constantly looking for ways to improve his hometown.
"I love this place, I love this city and I wanted to be a part of the revitalization of the downtown Youngstown area. I saw the vision of what Front Street was gonna become so when I moved here, the amphitheater wasn't there yet, the hotel wasn't there yet so a lot of people thought, why are you doing this? I was like guys, I'm telling you in about ten years you are going to be saying I'm a genius but guess what, they are saying I'm a genius and it's only been three years."
Determined not to let his surroundings dictate who he could become, Vidale hopes his story will now inspire others.
"Just a little bit of hard work, little bit of work ethic and trying to find opportunities and seizing opportunities you'll be able to do the exact same thing and that's what I want to do. I want to empower, I want to motivate and inspire other people that even a homeless kid from Youngstown Ohio can make it."
