The State of Ohio is providing some help to Valley communities repair damage from recent flooding.

The Ohio Public Works Commission has approved partial funding in the amount of $335,770 for repair projects in Mahoning County, Canfield, and Boardman Township.

Boardman Township is getting $124,000 for work on West Huntington Drive and culvert repair on South Cadillac Drive.

Canfield Township is receiving $50,000 to work on Pebble Beach Drive, Fairway Drive, Pheasant Run, and Cedar Park Drive.

Mahoning County is getting $161,770 for work on Washington Road and Courtney Road.

Township Administrator Jason Loree tells 21 News that South Cadillac will be closed just east of Glennwood Avenue until the culvert can be replaced.

He expects the ABC Water District to meet next week to approve emergency repairs to the culvert.
