Power restored to Cornersburg area
More than 1,500 customers are without power in the Cornersburg area. According to the FirstEnergy website, more than 400 customers in Austintown, Canfield and Youngstown areas are without power. Over 300 are also in the dark in Boardman. The outage map says that tree damage near Tippecanoe Road is the cause of the outage. Part of Tippecanoe near Shields Road is closed at this time. Power is expected to be restored around 10:30 p.m.

According to the FirstEnergy website, more than 400 customers in Austintown, Canfield and Youngstown areas were without power.

The outage map said that tree damage near Tippecanoe Road was the cause of the outage.
Part of Tippecanoe near Shields Road was closed after a tree fell in the area.
