Boardman boosters thank Taylor Kia for stadium donation

Posted: Updated:
BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio -

Boardman Boosters are giving thanks to Taylor Kia of Boardman for donating $50,000 to the final stage of Spartan Stadium.

The donation provides Taylor Kia signage on the back of Spartan Stadium's press box, in addition to the current Press Box signage that faces the field.

"Matt Taylor is a Boardman alumnus, and has been a great supporter of Spartan Stadium," said Booster President Bruce Flyak.  "With this latest donation, Matt has committed a total of $200,000 to date to the Stadium Project-- the largest of any local business."

Taylor adds that the stadium is next door to Spartan Stadium and their business is grateful to contribute to the Boardman community.

The final phase of the project includes boys and girls locker rooms with a total of 134 lockers, a formal front facade with a donor wall, public restrooms, ticket booths and concessions with an eating area.
