YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

A Warren mom has pleaded guilty to some of the charges filed after a crash in Youngstown that left two young children and another person dead early last year.

Ka'Nosha Bason, 26, appeared Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and one count of OVI.

Other charges handed up in an indictment last year were dismissed.

Police say Bason was driving a GMC Envoy the wrong way on the 7-11 connector on February 23, 2018, when it collided with a semi-tractor trailer, shutting down a highway ramp for more than 12 hours.

Bason's three passengers in the Envoy died, those victims were Bason's brother 32-year-old Cedrick Lyons and her two children, Noreyion Bason, age seven, and Nialaisha Bason, age five.  Prosecutors say Bason had marijuana, cocaine, and alcohol in her system.

Bason will be sentenced in late September.

Prosecutors are expected to recommend a seven-year prison sentence, but Bason could receive five years on each of the aggravated vehicular homicide charges, and six months on the OVI conviction.
