Update: Multi-vehicle crash that closed Interstate 80 in Clarion County was fatal
An accident shut down traffic in both directions on part of Interstate 80 in Clarion County, Pennsylvania about 42 miles east of the Ohio line.

A fatal accident shut down traffic in both directions on part of Interstate 80 in Clarion County, Pennsylvania about 42 miles east of the Ohio line.
According to PennDOT, a multi-vehicle crash on I-80 closed both eastbound and westbound lanes between the Knox Exit 53: PA 338 and the Emlenton Exit 42: PA 38 beginning around 12:30 a.m.
Traffic remained backed up until 10:28 a.m. Tuesday when the Emlenton Bridge eastbound reopened.
The westbound lanes of the bridge were still closed as of Tuesday afternoon.
