The Austintown 4th of July Fireworks Celebration, held annually on the Sunday before the 4th of July, is a well loved tradition among people in the Valley and a press conference being held Wednesday, April 24 marks the unofficial countdown to the 2024 festivities. 

To mark the occasion, Austintown Generational Enrichment Corporation (AGE) will hold a press conference at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course at 11 a.m. where the non-profit organization will be presented a sponsorship check from the Austintown Trustees and Greenwood Chevrolet. Greenwood Chevrolet will present a check going the "Extra Mile" to sponsor this year's event.

In a joint statement, Austintown Trustees Monica Devers, Robert Santos and Bruce Shepas said, "We are proud to once again support the community's pinnacle event and are appreciative of the collaboration between the teams at AGE, Hollywood and many others who support this celebration."

Hollywood Gaming will host this year's Celebration on Sunday June 30, 2024 with gates opening at noon and feature the area's premier food trucks, celebrity meet and greets, bounce houses, a dunk tank, various community performances, and a three band concert series headlined by Classic Stones – The Greatest Rock and Roll Tribute in The World. 

Fireworks are scheduled to beginning launching at 10 p.m..

"This will be the biggest 4th of July Celebration yet," said AGE Vice President, Jim Davis. "We have a jam packed event calendar pushing the start time to noon to accommodate an amazing entertainment schedule.
