YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Kilcawley Center on the Youngstown State University campus will close Monday as renovations to modernize the building begin.

The renovation will take place in phases over the next two-and-a-half years.

For the first phase, the following areas will close between May 5-11:

  • The Cove
  • Snack and Chill
  • KC Food Court
  • Dunkin'
  • Jamba Juice
  • Pete's Treats
  • Wendy's
  • All meeting spaces in Kilcawley Center

During the summer renovations, the following places will stay open:

  • Chick-Fil-A
  • Christman Dining Commons
  • Cushwa Cafe
  • Dunkin' Kiosk in the Kilcawley Center Chestnut Room

Other areas, including guest services, Rookery Radio and Jambar offices, and Student Activities and Government Offices in the Kilcawley Center have moved to temporary locations.

The project is expected to finish up in Fall 2027.
