YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police are investigating after a shooting on the city's east side.

Police say a person was shot in the 1000 block of McGuffey Road around noon Saturday.

The shooting happened near a convenience store there.

The victim is in stable condition.

Police say there's no information available on any suspects available.
