Warren man accused of firing revolver during argument with woman

WARREN A Warren man is facing charges after police say he fired a revolver during an argument with a woman early Sunday morning.
According to a police report, the incident happened in a parking lot at a bar on North Park Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
When police got to the scene, the woman described the suspect, identified as 75-year-old David Bloomer, and his vehicle to police. Police were able to find a vehicle and suspect matching that description in the parking lot.
According to the report, police detained Bloomer and found an empty holster and a revolver in the car. Police say Bloomer appeared to be intoxicated and admitted to having three to four beers that night.
According to the report, Bloomer explained that he had been having issues with the female victim going into his apartment and taking his stuff and the two got into an argument.
During the argument, police say Bloomer pulled out a revolver and fired one round in the air to show he was serious. No one was hurt.
Bloomer was arrested and charged with two misdemeanor counts of discharging a firearm in city limits and using weapons while intoxicated. He was arraigned on Monday, August 4, and is due back in court August 14.
