HOWLAND - More than 1,200 FirstEnergy customers are without power in the Howland area. The cause of the outage is currently unknown. 

The affected area stretches from the west side of Howland to the east side of Vienna. 

A crew has been dispatched to the scene to investigate.

As of 5:00 p.m. the outage has been fixed and energy is now available to affected residents
