BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - More than 10 Boardman businesses along Market Street are set to be featured in the Merry on Market Small Business Crawl beginning December 12.

Sponsors Nicci Bell of Love Thy Curves and Craig Duster of Pop! Art Books Culture say they are looking to expand the reach of local businesses and garner positivity in the area.

"Small businesses need local support to survive and we want to help other businesses in our neighborhood thrive too," Bell said. "Hosting this crawl is a great way to learn about amazing small businesses and the people in our community at the same time."

Featured businesses include Penny Pinchers, The Coffeeshop at Ridgewood, Combine Brothers, Renegade Toys and more. Anyone participating in the "crawl" will receive a stamp card and get stamps for visiting participating businesses, plus additional stamps for making a purchase. Each stamp offers crawlers an entry into a prize drawing.

Winners of the drawing will be announced before Christmas.

"If everyone who participates learns of the existence of one more local business – someplace they can go and shop rather than click and order – I consider that a win," Duster said.

The small business crawl will take place December 12 through December 14.
