Responders were called to the area of Concord Avenue in Youngstown for reports of a fire on Monday, December 22, around 10:30 p.m.

According to the Youngstown Fire Department (YFD), a detached garage at a vacant home was fully engulfed in flames when responders arrived on the scene.

Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze, but a 21 News crew member on the scene observed the garage to have sustained complete damage.

Officials say that no one was inside the structure at the time of the blaze and no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation.
